hotel telegrafo cuba .com - A Luxurious Hotel in Old Havana
An authentic and modern hotel from the 19th century in Old Havana, with spectacular views to the Central Park

Rooms at Hotel Telegrafo

The hotel Telegrafo has 63 individual rooms, 9 junior suites, 54 rooms double, all with privileged views to the city.

To gain access to the rooms, it is necessary to travel long corridors of red moquette very colds. The rooms distributed in three plants are wide with high caps. All ones are to the outer part, most with a view to the Central Park. But, easy, all have double glazing to preserve the calm.

Some 12 rooms have bed king size and there is an available room for people of reduced mobility.

The Junior Suite

The 9 Hotel Telegrafo’s Junior Suites are beautifully laid out and decorated in similar style to the standard rooms, but they’re much larger and have very attractive sitting rooms and with adjoining guest loos just inside the entrance.

The Standard Room

All 54 standard rooms at the Hotel Telegrafo are nothing short of wonderful, in Cubaism’s opinion. The furniture is completely modern which provides a refreshing aesthetic change from creaky cobwebby Colonial style, especially if you are staying in more than one place during your time in Havana.

They have attractive tiled floors and high windows letting in masses of light but virtually no noise or heat - despite being on an amazingly busy street corner - due to efficient double glazing and gently humming air conditioning. The walls are decorated with paint effects in pretty colours, the textiles are attractive, the lighting well-designed, the ceilings are elegantly high and the bathrooms are clean, modern and bright. Need we say more? 47 of the rooms are twin bedded and the other 7 have matrimonial beds.

Welcome to my site dedicated to the Hotel Telegrafo in Old Havana,, Cuba. I am "poco a poco" researching and updating it with the aim to provide as complete as possible record of the hotel's ancient and recent history; bearing in mind that the goings-on today may one day be of historical interest.

My site is NOT the official website of the current hotel operator, and is by no means endorsed by them; but I am grateful for their help with the research.

You can make from this site room reservations through the Bizloco eTravel System operated by, Cubaism Ltd.

Best wishes for 2017
